ED faculty visit ORPIC
Twenty-two Engineering Department (ED) faculty visited Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (ORPIC), Sohar, on July 4, 2019.
During the visit, Project Services Coordinator Ms. Sara Ali Al Ghaithi explained the company’s history, project areas and stages in preparing polymerization and distribution.
ITQ Specialist Ms. Hassan Moosa Al Balushi discussed the health and safety procedures of the company and its and emergency methods of evacuating.
Process Engineer Mr. Abdullah Rashid Al Zaabi and Process Trainer Mr. Ali Al Washahi elucidated process unit, product yields and onsite and offsite areas.
Said industrial visit was organized by the Industry Liaison Committee of the Engineering Department, in coordination with ShCT OJT Department.
