ED facilitates ‘Specializations Orientation’
The Engineering Department (ED) facilitated an orientation on ‘Specializations¬’ at Room B-003, on March 27, 2019.
Attended by around 100 diploma students, the program aimed at helping them choose their suitable specializations offered by their department.
ED currently offers three specialization namely: Civil, Electrical and Mechanical.
Engineers Mohammed Ahmed Al Jabri, Al Nibras Company, Ali Sultan Al Reeesi, Voltamp Energy Consumption, and Yahya Mohammed Al Zaabi, Orpic Company, served as the resource speakers.
They stressed the importance of choosing the right specialization, and how the skills gained from their chosen specializations influence their careers.
Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) Dean Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Al Mamari and ED Head Dr. Ahmed Al Balushi expressed their gratitude to the guest speakers, and awarded them with mementos and certificates of appreciation.
