A group of 18 Bachelor Civil Engineering students enrolled in B. Tech Project (Part B) course, visited a construction site in the Wilayat of Shinas, on March 14, 2019.

The industrial visit aimed at familiarizing the students with the different structural elements of framed structure construction.

Mr. Sharif Zaki El Sayed, Project Engineer of Al Awtad Al Haditha Trading and Contracting Company, showed the building’s detailed drawing, and discussed the safety measures to be followed during construction.

He also discussed the proper execution of project work to control the quality of structural element.

The Industry Liaison Committee of the Engineering Department (ED) organized the said visit.

ED lecturers Mr. Prakash Kandasamy and Ms. Vani Joshi accompanied the students.
