ShCT participates in 2018 National Symposium in Business, Economics
Four Business Studies Department lecturers represented Shinas College of Technology in the 2018 National Symposium in Emerging Issues, challenges and opportunities in business, management and economics held in Ibri College of Technology, Ibri, Oman, on May 9, 2018.
Dr. Joefrelin C. Ines and Mr. Reynald A. Funtinilla presented their papers entitled “Achieving Competitive Advantage Via Value Chain Model: Case of Oman’s Micro and Small Entrepreneurs.”
On the other hand, Dr. Cirilo E. Mirano, Jr., and Mr. Romel B. Basilan presented their paper on “Reshaping Service Business in Oman: Transforming to Customer Intimate Business (An Assessment).
The symposium was attended by several representatives from the different Colleges of Technology (CoTs) and Colleges of Applied Sciences (CAS) across the Sultanate to present their research papers to a group of panelists/judges.
Presenters were commended on the relevance of their studies in the on-going effort of the Sultanate in achieving Oman Vision 2020. Furthermore, ShCT was acknowledged for the support and participation in this worthwhile endeavor.
