Marketing students visit Oman Ceramic Company
A group of Marketing students from the Business Studies Department (BSD) visited Oman Ceramics Company (S.A.O.G), Sohar Industrial Estate, on February 5, 2019.
During the industrial visit, HR Manager Khalid Al Muqeemi welcomed the students and introduced them to the company’s staff.
The Production Manager showed the various processing units within the factory and explained the processes involved in producing various ceramic products.
The Marketing In-charge of the company explained the company’s marketing activities such as advertising, sales promotion, existing competitors in the market, and exporting products to all GCC countries, the UK, and Pakistan.
At the end of the visit, the students gained knowledge on the practical marketing concepts adapted by the company.
Mr. Narsaiah Lakkavatri accompanied the students in the said visit.
