Digital Marketing/Social Media Marketing
An online training session was organized on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, for the students who are taking On-the-Job training (OJT) during the third semester of the academic year 2020-2021.
Mr. Jeffrey Canlas Gozun – Faculty from City College of Angeles, Philippines conducted the session entitled “Digital Marketing/Social Media Marketing.” The speaker imparted his knowledge on digital marketing and importance of social medias in digital advertisement, to the Business Students. The speaker discussed digital ads, outplace traditional ads, digital wellness and its importance, digital marketing, leverage through digital channels for customer connections, inbound marketing and content marketing. He explained more about using search engines for optimization in digital marketing, uses of Hashtags in search optimization for social media. He presented various points to consider relating to marketing, such as financial decisions and other strategic decisions. Live examples and sample digital advertisements were discussed during the training session. It was an interactive learning experience for the participants.
At the end of the session Dr. Joefreline Ines, Head, Marketing Section, UTAS-Shinas expressed the vote of thanks to the speaker.
