Business Studies Department Organizes Online OJT
An online training session was delivered on 25th of May 2021, for the students taking On-the-Job training (OJT) during semester 3 of the academic year 2020-2021.
Prof. Justicia Cura-Dalida from CHAMP Employees’ Development, Philippines conducted the session entitled “Business Survival during Troubled Times (Entrepreneurial Skills)” The speaker addressed Business students about the survival of businesses during the troubled times. The speaker covered the various causes of economic downfall which impact in business processes. She also shared various points to consider when starting a business, to ensure a successful running business, such as sustainability, market factors, acquired skills, regenerative aspects and technology. Prof Justicia discussed the various emerging trends within the business environment, especially in light of the pandemic situation, which has given importance to the key concept of innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities. At the end of the session, she explained about global drivers of change in businesses, various opportunities and its exploration to survival. Live examples and scenarios were presented during the interactive learning session.
