The Business Studies Department hosted an online guest lecture titled ‘Taxation  System in Sultanate of Oman’ on 30^th November,2021. The event was organized by Alumni & Community Engagement Committee of the BSD, UTAS-Shinas. The resource speaker, Mr. Omar Ali Khulfan Al-Weshahe, Tax Inspector from the Tax Authority gave an overview about the taxation system and the current practices used in the Sultanate of Oman. The event was facilitated by the two members of the committee Ms. Amel Radouch and Dr. Vimal Kumar Agarwal, Business lecturers in the Business Studies Department. The event was attended by external guests as well as UTAS Shinas staff and students. A certificate of appreciation was presented by Dr. Gharib Ismail Gharib Al-Matroushi.
