BSD- HRM Section students attend 4th Annual OSHRM Conference
Business Studies Department (BSD) - Human Resource Management (HRM) Section students attended the 4th Annual Omani Society for Human Resources Management (OSHRM) Conference with the theme, "Tomorrow is now. Are we there yet?" from October 9 to 11, 2018, held at Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, Muscat.
This year, the Conference took an in-depth look at the trends affecting the country’s labor sector, and uncovered the factors which continuously evolve in order for the employees to successfully adapt to the workplace environment.
The conference’s brought together diverse group of thought leaders and practitioners in one common platform which was attended predominantly by HR professionals from various levels and organizations within the Sultanate, from the Gulf Cooperating Counties (GCC), and other parts of the world, as well.
A group of 15 students accompanied by BSD Head Ms. Khadija Ahmed AlIsaei attended the conference under the sponsorship of Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (ORPIC).
It was a valuable experience for students to be part of the world's only HR- Summit run by an Omani HR society - combining the best in international experience with an Arab-world focus.
