The Business Studies Department (BSD) held a seminar on “Outcome-Based Education: Sustainability and Accountability” for its lecturers on November 14, 2019 at Room A-229, Main Building.

Dr. Junifer Abatayo, Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Center for Educational Development of Sohar University, served as the resource speaker.

He underscored the importance of sustainability and accountability in Outcome-Based Education. He further emphasized that teachers should not focus on what their students know, but rather stress on how they can motivate their students to demonstrate what they can do with what they know.

BSD Head Dr. Badar Al Shabibi expressed his gratitude to the speaker and awarded him with a certificate of appreciation.
