Sponsored by Oman Sail and Omani Authority for Partnership for Development (OAPFD), the three-day training aimed at building the capacity of Omani college students through experiential learning.
The trainees took part in outdoor activities, including sailing which most of them experienced for the first time during the training.
Zimam enabled the participants to “bond as a team while developing new skills and unlocking hidden potential.”
"We are using the outdoors to coach listening, self-belief, self-motivation, tenacity, diligence, focus, attention to detail and teamwork,” said David Graham, Oman Sail CEO, in a press release about Zimam.
