Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) organized a two-session training on ‘ProQuest E-Library’ at the Open Laboratory, on March 4, 2019.

A group of 30 faculty and staff, and 26 students nominated by the English Language Center (ELC) and other academic departments attended the first and second sessions, respectively.

Dubai ProQuest Trainer and Consultant Mr. Anas Obaid, the resource speaker, provided a list of library databases and facilitated hands-on training on the features and applications of the ProQuest library such as searching, adding to bookshelf, copying, printing, downloading e-books, searching and downloading materials.

The training aimed to teach both ShCT staff and students to use the ProQuest library effectively.
