A group of six IT students from UTAS Shinas participated in the Oman Science Festival 2022 on 15^th October 2022, held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, Muscat. The students who participated were Maryam Al Amri, Mohammed Said Al Harrasi, Israa Hamood Al Mamari, Khalil Ibrahim Hussein Al Blushi, Fatema Saif Sultan Al Badi and Maryam Darwish Mohammed Alshehhi. They took part in 3 workshops namely Junior Techno, which included designing a website using HTML, the second was ‘learn how to draw using scratch software’ and ‘learn how to code using code monkey website’.  Also, smart cards, which included sequence games, while using coding with Python, name’s encryption and Arduino.
