The English Language Center (ELC) recently organised an informative workshop titled "Galvanising Qualitative Research among ELC staff" on Thursday, 4th May 2023. The event was held at the ELC and was attended by the ELC staff and English teachers from Shinas Vocational College.

The presenter for the event was Iman Qasim Al Sharqi, who is an English lecturer and an experienced researcher in the field of qualitative research. The purpose of the event was to provide a platform for ELC staff to learn and exchange experiences related to qualitative research. The workshop was well received and provided valuable insights into qualitative research. The ELC management, Head of Section Mr Hamdan Al Abri and Ms Amal Al Jahwari, expressed their gratitude towards all the attendees and presented a certificate of appreciation to Iman Qasim Al Sharqi for presenting an insightful workshop. The Staff Professional Development Team facilitated the event and encouraged all ELC staff members to participate in such events to enhance their research skills and contribute to the academic growth of the university.
