The English Language Centre, in collaboration with the Educational Technology Centre (ETC) organised two training sessions on how to use the advanced features of Smartboard.  Mr Sidney Souribio  from the ETC  presented the training sessions for English lecturers in the ELC building on 10th November 2022.  Mr Sidney provided a brief discussion about  OpenBoard software.  He explained some the features such as Board, Desktop and Browser Mode.  He also demonstrated how to navigate through the tools  by importing and exporting files and how to manage screen recording to improve student engagement.  The Staff Support Co-ordinator, Mr Ossama Sayed presented a certificate of appreciation to the presenter for providing the training sessions, which will help the ELC teachers understand how to effectively use the advanced features of OpenBoard.
