As part of the ‘Beyond University Walls’ initiative, students from the English Club organised a live interview with Virgin Radio Presenter and Program Director Huda, on 22^nd  February  2022.  The online event, which was supervised by the Student Support Committee, was hosted by student Hafsa Al Maskari who was assisted by Reema Al Shibli.  Around 70 students and teachers attended the event via MS Teams. Ms. Huda answered questions about her career as a Radio Presenter and Program Director and working in media.  She inspired UTAS-Shinas students to pursue their dreams and stay dedicated toward achieving their goals. Students asked a variety of questions followed by a rapid ‘lightening round’.  The event provided a great opportunity for students to practice their English-speaking skills and develop semi-formal interviewing skills. Huda was thanked for taking part in ‘Beyond University Walls’ and for inspiring UTAS-Shinas students.
