The ELC congratulated Mr Behnam Behforouz, ELC lecturer, for getting his research article published under the name of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, in the Journal of Language and Linguistic Studies. The study is the first to explore the effects of online assessment on learners' knowledge, performance, and authentic learning capabilities in virtual platforms, during the outbreak of Covid-19 among UTAS-GFP Students. The article ‘Online assessment and the features in language education context: A brief review’  focuses on academic integrity.  Mr Saif Al Weshahi, Head of Centre for the ELC, commended Mr Behnam and encouraged all staff to contribute towards educational research, to inform and improve teaching practice. Mr Saif commented that the publication would inspire more staff within the ELC to maintain a sustainable research culture.
