The Community Engagement Committee representing UTAS Shinas visited various government organisations, on 7th June 2022. The visits were intended to discuss the importance of consolidating relations between institutions and the university, to collaboratively serve employees and community members, by developing training programs and courses. Dr. Gharib Al-Matroushi, Head of the Community Engagement Committee, and Ms. Maryam Al-Nofli, a member of the committee, visited organisations in  Sohar including the Ministry of Labor, Sohar Hospital, and the General Directorate of Education in North Al Batinah Governorate. Everyone expressed their gratitude for the proposed partnership between the university and the community.
