The Community Engagement Committee facilitated an awareness workshop titled “A library for every home” on 15th December 2022, at Al-Nahda School for Basic Education (9-12) in Shinas. Fatma Al-Kharousi & Ms. Fatma Al Balushi from ETC. This workshop targeted teachers and students of Al-Nahda School. The session helped to encourage reading to build a conscious and educated generation, capable of facing developments in the future. The initiative came on the occasion of Arabic Language Day, to motivate young learners and remind them about the importance of reading.  The workshop presenters also talked about having a home library in every home.  They discussed how books should be arranged in a more aesthetic way in order to attract individuals to read continuously. The workshop was attended by 60 students enrolled in different levels during the session.
