The Counselling and Graduates Follow-up (CGF) Department organized a lecture on "Cybercrime" held at the Theatre, Engineering Building, on May 5, 2018.

Shinas Head of the Public Prosecution Mr. Saeed Al-Maqbali was tapped as resource person.

Mr. Saeed highlighted the proper use of the mobile phone. In case of being exposed to cyberbullying or cyber harassment, one should request help from CGF, which will take the necessary actions with complete confidentiality.

The lecture was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Ma'amari, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Heads of the Academic Departments and Centers, Heads of Administrative Departments and staff, lecturers and students.

Said lecture was conducted to raise awareness among the participants of online cyber blackmailing and its negative and dangerous effects on individuals and society.
