The Business Studies Department, under the leadership of Ms. Khadija Al Isaei, conducted the Business Idea Poster Exhibit Competition on 13^th December 2022. The exhibition was held at the 2^nd Floor lobby in the Main Building. There were 56 Groups showcasing their Business Idea comprised of 220 students from the IT, Engineering, and Business Departments The formal opening of the exhibition was done with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Dean, HOD, HOSs, and Judges.  Dr. Ahmed Said Al Shahri, provided a message of encouragement to the participants, to continuously enhance their creativity and innovation by coming out with business ideas that create opportunities for entrepreneurship and employment.   There were 6 Judges who evaluated the Business Idea Posters, from the Industry namely, Mr. Ahmed Al Maqbali (Jindal Shadeed), Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Mamari (Jindal Shadeed), Ms. Latifa Al Maqbali (Sohar Aluminium), Mr. Maryam Khalfan Al Jabri (Sohar Aluminium), Mr. Tariq Al Mamari (Shinas Vocational College), and Mr. Mohammed Sali Al Badwawi (VALE).
