Under the initiative of the Industry Engagement Committee of the Business Studies Department an industrial visit to 'The Central Bank of Oman' (CBO) Muscat was organized for students who are studying the subject 'Banking Theory and Practice'. The students visited CBO and gained an in-depth knowledge of the various operations of CBO and also understood the difficulties faced during the Pandemic and what methods were adopted to overcome the challenges. The students also visited the currency Museum which is on the ground floor of the CBO premises and were granted the unique opportunity to see the various currencies of Oman right from an ancient time when money became a medium of exchange, up to the present age. They also got an insight into the way currency was made.  Mr. Samiulla N Manik and Ms. Madhu Rebecca Dhansingh, Lecturers from the Business Studies Department accompanied the students on this industrial trip to the Central Bank of Oman on Wednesday, 15^th June 2022.
