OJT Objectives
The main objective of 'on-the-job training' is to acquaint the students formally to a real life work place environment. This will help to explore the relationship between the knowledge & skills acquired in college with those required in the working situations. This enables students to understand and respond better to the market demand.
General Aims of OJT
1. Demonstrate the broad role and importance of the technician in industry/commerce.
2. Give the student an opportunity to establish an interest in industrial/commercial activities.
3. Provide a general work experience, so that the student can apply skills previously acquired at the College and acquire new relevant skills.
4. Provide a foundation for prepare the student for working efficiently and productively in industrial commercial establishments.
5. Create a two-way link between the Trade & Industry and the colleges of Ministry of Manpower so that the graduate of the colleges fulfill their needs and requirements.
