The Staff Professional Development Committee (SPDC) of the Information Technology Department organized a seminar on Linux Fundamentals in Lab A-219 on September 19, 2016.

IT lecturer Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed facilitated the workshop which aimed to orient the IT staff on how to effectively work on Linux operating system.

Mr. Imtiaz taught the participants how to use the basic shell commands, linux kernel, user management, shell scripting and many more features of linux operating system.

The seminar aimed to augment the knowledge and skills of the teaching staff and expose them to the latest trends and technologies.
