The IT Department held an IT Get-Together Day on January 7, 2017 at Kashmeer Street, Sohar. This get-together was held in order to promote the spirit of camaraderie and brotherhood. The theme was “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is a progress; working together is a success.”

This team-building activity showcased the talents of the staff and their families, and featured a variety of cuisines.

Ms. Amina Al-Jabri, HoD-IT, gave the welcome address to formally open the IT Get-Together Day. Mr. Christodoss Prasanna, IT lecturer facilitated a talent show.  Staff members and their respective families displayed their talents in singing and dancing, among others. Subsequently, Mr. Rajesh, Ms. Myra and Mr. Edgar helped with both the indoor and outdoor games.

Members of the IT Department Council, namely: Ms. Amina Al-Jabri, HoD-IT, Ms. Amna Al-Kaabi, HoS-IT, Mr. Syed Mher, HoD-Networking, Mr. Deogracias Joaquin, HoD-Mathematics and Dr. Mary Jane Aragon, distributed the prizes to the winners.

Ms. Amna Al-Kaabi, HoS-IT, gave the closing remarks. Mr. Justin Rajasekaran, IT lecturer made the arrangements of this get-together activity.
