As part of the center’s Development Plan, ETC conducted an AutoCAD training for ETC Staff in the ShCT Engineering AutoCad Laboratory on April 27-28, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

Ms. Sumitha Manu Thekkoot and Ms. Muna Salim Al-Issaei, ShCT Engineering AutoCAD technicians trained the ETC staff on the basics of AutoCAD, AutoCad Commands, building drawing, floor plan drawing and elevation drawing.

During the two three-hour training sessions, Ms. Sumitha and Ms. Muna focused on the familiarization of commands and basic drawing procedures.

Sessions for Sketch-up training and 3D building animations will soon be scheduled.

The ETC Staff Professional Development Team works hand-in-hand with academic departments for knowledge sharing as the center strives to provide better service to the college in all its areas of support.
