English Language Center (ELC) lecturer Dr. Joseph Decena Dayag facilitated a workshop during the 3^rd English Language Teaching Professional Development Workshop(3^rd ELTPDW) held at Ibri College of Technology(IbriCT) on April 5, 2017.

Dr. Dayag presented the workshop titled “Fostering Fun in EFL [English as a Foreign Language] Learning,” which aimed at encouraging the participants to motivate their students and promote autonomy through games.

In the workshop, Dr. Dayag shed light on the relevant literature about the significance of games in motivating and engaging students.

He also engaged the participants as they simulated two interactive games, which he had modified and applied in his grammar classes.

IbriCT organized the 3^rd ELTPDW to serve as a “platform for sharing ideas among the qualified and learned fraternity.”
