ELC Faculty Attend British Council’s 2nd ELTPN Conference
Ten ELC lecturers participated in the 2nd ELT Professionals Network 2016 Conference held at Military Technological College, February 19-20, 2016.
ELC lecturers Ms. Amal Al Jahwari, Ms. Safia Al Ajmi, Ms. Liza Matthew, Ms. Mahalaksmi Dhamodaran, Ms. Emma Bondal, Ms. Hajarah Bano, Dr. Kalyana Thirunagari, Mr. Mohammed Shafee, Mr. Ossama Sayed (also a workshop presenter), and Mr. Abdullah Al Balushi attended the two-day ELT event.
The conference was dubbed ‘Engaging, Educational, Effortless: Ideas and activities in the classroom.’
Eminent speakers in the conference include Paul Woodfall, John Huges, Peter Lucantoni, & Natasha Arain.
During the conference, ShCT lecturers not only attended plenary sessions and workshops but also had a chance to network with international and local presenters.
The 2nd Annual ELTPN Conference was spearheaded by the British Council Oman in collaboration with the Military Technical College.
