The Engineering Department, in coordination with ShCT’s On-the-Job Training Department, organized an industrial visit to Madha Power Plant on February 03, 2016. Twenty-two BTech Electrical Engineering students, along with Engineering HOD Dr. Mohammed Al-Weshahi, visited the plant.

The safety officer gave a safety induction for the students; whereas, the operation engineers demonstrated the operation and maintenance of different electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, breakers, and relays.

Moreover, the operation engineers demonstrated the isolation and normalization of the electrical system.

The students got a chance to see the startup sequences of the electrical generator.
