NCT holds 1st Graduating Entrepreneurs Symposium
Nizwa College of Technology spearheaded the “First Graduating Entrepreneurs Symposium” for two days on May 30-31, 2016.
The first day saw the opening of the exhibition of the participating graduates’ business from different higher education institutions including Nizwa University and all the Colleges of Technology in Oman.
In addition, organizers sponsored two workshops titled “The Danger Stages of Establishing a New Enterprise” and “Entrepreneurship: Between Theory and Practice”.
On the second day, the exhibition continued while Casco Systems Company facilitated a workshop on “Internet of All Things.”
The closing ceremony was sponsored by Al Khattab Ghalib Al Hinai, assistant chairman of the State Council, and Dr. Muna Al Jardani, the Ministry’s undersecretary for technological education and vocational training centers.
In the symposium, SHCT was represented by Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Al Ajmi, CEO of Al Thuraya biz Company. The company presented its functions in the exhibition; such as providing solutions and branding, development, and strategies for big, established companies in Oman (i.e. Orpic and Vale.
After the event, AlThurayaBiz Company gave Nizwa College of Technology a memento in appreciation for its noble initiative.
