The Students Support Service Committee of the Department of Business Studies (BSD) organized a workshop on “Importance of Human Resource Management in the Present Scenario” on May 11, 2016.

Mr. Haitham Al Mamari, People Development Senior Manager of Oman Oil Marketing Company was the guest speaker.

The speaker focused on the purpose and importance of human resource management in the present situation. He discussed the evolution, models, objectives and responsibilities of HR department in an organization.

The guest was felicitated with a certificate and memento by Ms. Khadija Al Isaei, BSD’s HOS for HR Department.

The workshop was organized by Dr. R. Alamelumangai and coordinated by Mr. Ahmed Al Saadi.
