Shinas College of Technology shared its General Foundation Program (GFP) Pilot Audit experience to other technical colleges at Higher College of Technology Multi-Purpose Hall, Muscat on January 28, 2016.

ShCT ELC Head Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Balushi introduced the ShCT QA members  as he shared some tips on preparing the GFP Portfolio.

ELC QA Coordinator Mr. Elmo Purpura discussed the “Rationale of GFP”, and then ELC QA Assistant Coordinator Mr. Aldrin Apolonio elucidated the “Process/ Flow on Designing GFP Portfolio.”

ShCT QA Administrative Member Dr. Joaquin Gabayno Jr.  presented the similarities and differences between GFP and Institutional Audit  as well as the flow of the three-day visit of the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority.

Moreover, IT HOSs  Dr. Joey Masirag and Mr. Deogracias Joaquin shared their insights, experiences and QA practices in the college.

HOCs, HOSs, QA coordinators and members from Higher College of Technology (Muscat), Nizwa College of Technology, Ibra College of Technology and Al Musanna College of Technology attended the   knowledge-sharing event.

All the participating technical colleges are ShCT’s sister colleges under the auspices of the Ministry of Manpower, Oman.
