The Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) of Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) conducted a workshop on “Risk Management in the Context of Higher Education Institutions” at the VIP Hall on February 28, 2017.

Participants include academic department/centre heads, heads of sections, department QA coordinators, and Risk Management Committee members.

Mr. Ali Mahmood Ahmed Al-Bulushi Assistant  Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Chair of Risk Management Committee, facilitated the workshop, outlining types of risks, importance of risk management and how different it is from H & S management and risk management process. 

QAU Administrative members Dr. Syed Sulaiman Hussaini & Mr. Dhanasekaran Neelakantan assisted the facilitator with regard to RM Register and Workshop case study, respectively. 

All attendees participated in all four (4) workshop activities including hands on practice using RM register that covers the whole process of Risk Management.

Meanwhile, the same workshop will be conducted in Arabic for Administrative and Student Affairs departments.
