2 ShCT teams win in National Cybersecurity Competition
Two (2) teams from Shinas College of Technology got the 2nd highest point in the final round of Oman CTF Competition held at Sultan Qaboos University on November 11, 2017.
Four ShCT participants passed the qualification round; whereas, the participants were organized into two (2) teams for the final round.
Networking lecturer Mr. Rajesh R. Kala coached the ShCT participants: Asim Sulaiman, Fatema Qasim Sulaiman, Marwan Abdullah Ali Al Saifi, and Saif Khalf Said Rashid Al-Saidi.
Eleven (11) teams from different private and government colleges competed in this round.
The qualification round was conducted online on October 26 to 28 as an individual competition where 7 students from ShCT joined.
The competition was organized by Cyber Talents and ITU-Arab Regional Cyber Security Center.
