Winners of the competition will be assigned a coach/consultant to prepare for competitions within Oman, and outside the country.

THEME : ACADEME AND INDUSTRY SYNERGY: TOWARDS EXCELLENCE IN TECHNOLOGY

MECHANICS:

a. All bonafide students of Shinas College of Technology can join the contest.

b. A team shall be composed of a maximum of two members, or a student may choose to join individually.

c. The webpage should be designed according to the theme ACADEME AND INDUSTRY SYNERGY: TOWARDS EXCELLENCE IN TECHNOLOGY

d. Contestants can use any scripting language for designing the webpage, it can be open-source, proprietary software or both. (HTML, PHP, ASP and others)

e. The contestants are given 4 hours to complete the webpage design.

f. No contestant is allowed to go out of the room once the contest started.

g. The decision of the board of judges is final.

h. A certificate will be awarded to the winner/s.

 

CRITERIA

CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY - 40%

LAYOUT/DESIGN/FUNCTIONALITY - 30%

RELEVANCE TO THE THEME - 20%

OVERALL PRESENTATION - 10%
